This beautiful apartment in central London is moments from Marble Arch and boasts stunning views over Hyde Park. Designed by architect Rafael Viñoly, the apartments feature tall ceilings and generously proportioned rooms.
With such a vibrant setting we wanted to create a calm oasis for our well travelled client to call home.
Our interior colour palette is based on neutral tones with layered textures of boucle, velvet and linen. Bold marble and dark wood adds solidity and structure whilst the organic forms and curved edges create a softness and flow to the living areas. Jewel tone accessories add an extra dimension of reflected light and add personality and warmth.
Almost completely rebuilt from scratch, this stunning four bedroom house with a separate annex and pool, is a pebbles throw away from the beautiful West Wittering beach, near Chichester, West Sussex. Our cosmopolitan clients took on the challenge to reinvent this property into a contemporary, light filled home for themselves and their young children.
We were engaged early on in the project and advised on all key material choices including flooring, tiles, hardware and colour schemes. Part of our brief was to incorporate a Japandi style aesthetic and find a suitable home for some much loved family heirloom pieces within the furniture layouts.
Bespoke joinery was commissioned through out, from the kitchen units to the boot room, bookshelves and the bathroom vanity units, creating a truly customised living space.
Situated in Henley-on-Thames, one of the most the beautiful towns in England, this four bedroom stunning contemporary open plan residence became the new home for a well travelled, art loving couple and their teenage children.
Whilst our clients loved their new home, they felt it lacked both quiet, cosy spaces and areas that comfortably accommodated family gatherings, especially around meal times and special occasions.
Part of our creative intention was to design an interior scheme that reflected the warm and engaging personality of our clients, their love of craft and quality, complimented their art collection, and create a comfortable, inviting home for their large family to thrive.
Our colour choices were guided by both the external view and balanced with our clients paintings and ceramics. Natural materials such as walnut were chosen to create bespoke furniture in generous scale, to compliment the open plan areas and ensure that all of the family could be accommodated comfortably.
This Grade II Listed Farmhouse nestled in the West Sussex countryside, underwent a thorough and sympathetic complete refurbishment. Lime mortar and natural breathable paints were used throughout alongside natural sisal flooring on refurbished brick floors. Minimal decoration allowing the original period features of the property to take centre stage.
Tucked away in a quiet residential area of West Hampstead, this recently purchased family home was in need of a complete update. Gail Race Interiors were commissioned to rethink the layout to make the most of the open plan ground floor and direct access to the garden. New full height crittal windows with integrated doors were designed to replace the UPVC windows and breathe a fresh contemporary aesthetic into the space. The current solid oak floor was retained and refurbished, a new kitchen designed along with a bespoke banquette seating area for cosy dining. On the first floor we added walnut flooring to the living area and master bedroom, and provided interior schemes for each of the rooms including the bedrooms on the second floor.
Originally built in the 1960's, this light filled property underwent a program of renovation and extension. Key original features were refurbished and the layout was reconfigured to provide spacious rooms that flow from the double height hallway.
Natural materials and a neutral palette give this home a relaxed ambience, with the occasional flash of colour or metallic tones adding personality and warmth.
